Puppy With Enlarged Nipples What Causes A Female Puppy To Have An Enlarged Nipple?

What causes a female puppy to have an enlarged nipple? - puppy with enlarged nipples

My 4 months old boxer has an enlarged nipple pretty bad. It has never been in heat before so I know this has nothing to do, or pregnancy. All nipples are normal. The nipple is extended about 3 / 4 inches long and flared. The bottom half is purple and the top is pink and is crispy on top. Let me know if anyone done something similar in order to have their puppies from the heat. Thank you!

Could it be mastitis, inflammation of the breast / nipple. In any case, you have to look to a vet.

I say we should bring to the vet because my aunts dog started well and, when she was taken to the vet who said it was a tumor and the dog had an operation to take. then try to get asap.hope veterinarian, will be better.

Maybe a hormonal change? I at least call the vet to be sure.

This would be brought to the vet, what is the cause of your pain? It is better to repair than it is now, and wait to have a big problem in a few weeks.

It appears that your dog was thinking in May, an infection called mastitis that can negatively affect dogs at any age, I was only seeing more dogs, but apparently can affect any age, take it to the veterans receive the one to control.

First, I am not a vet, but ...

If you use the touch-sensitive (ie - your puppy will not affect the area or cries when he does not) or whether it is warm, it might be infected.

I really see a vet suggest that infections can be fatal.

Good luck to you and the dog.

It seems there may be an infection. Take her to the vet in the morning, when the situation will worsen. It would have been through something that he knows, scratched, as it happened, but it certainly brings him to the vet.

How can human beings, dogs have breast cancer .... It is the worst thing that could be, but also easily removed by a veterinarian. In addition, your puppy is young and could have a Abbesses. Your vet may offer a cream, or perhaps an antibiotic for infection. Just watch it. If it flies, or seems to have pus ... Take him to the vet immediately be observed. The purple-ish sounds like blood "plooling. that is, if you have little traffic and pools of blood on the severity litterally
